      i)        That the contents of the report is noted.

 

     ii)        That the selection of the following events companies to support the town centre economic recovery are endorsed:

 

(a) `Bakehouse’ to deliver an installation and associated activation events and promotions to be staged in the summer 2021, and

(b) `We are Placemaking’ to devise further activation events for 2022.

1          That the term dates for the academic year 2022/23 attached in Annex 1 of the Executive Director: People’s report be approved.

 

2          That Thursday 1 September 2022 be set as an in-service training day for all schools.

17/05/2021 - Amendment to Education Transport Policy for Bracknell Forest Children Aged 5-16 ref: 3177    Recommendations Approved

To seek formal approval to amend the Education Travel policies, for children aged 5-16 for the period 2020 -2021 and 2021 -2022 to align them fully with the School Admissions Guide.

Decision:

The Executive member agreed the revised eligibility criteria for pupils aged 5-16 contained within the proposed Education Transport Policy Statements 2020/21 and 2021/22 to include ‘designated area school’ in order to align itself fully with the School Admissions guide.
