Minutes: The minutes of the meeting held on 14 March 2024 could not be approved as the meeting was not quorate.
31.	Election of Chair for the meeting Minutes: RESOLVED that Kathy Hadfield be appointed Chair for the meeting.
32.	Agreed Syllabus Update PDF 1 MB Minutes: Anne Andrews presented the latest version of the proposed Syllabus. Work was progressing on the Syllabus and Anne thanked members for their feedback on the content so far, including suggestions around wording on questions. Anne explained that it was important to ensure continuity across religions. It was stressed that a syllabus would only ever give RE teachers a foundation for RE teaching, and the quality of lessons would depend on training and support for RE teachers. Any further feedback from members was welcomed by the 19 July 2024 at the latest, and a further version would be available after Anne’s meeting with the other advisors.
33.	Discuss launch plan Minutes: Anne informed members that a hotel in Winnersh had been booked for a launch event aimed at teachers on 27 March 2025, from 2-6pm. It would be for each authority to organise its own local launch for councillors, local authority representatives and dignitaries, if required.
