Declarations of Interest

Members are asked to declare any Disclosable Pecuniary or Affected Interests in respect of any matter to be considered at this meeting.

 

Any Member with a Disclosable Pecuniary Interest in a matter should withdraw from the meeting when the matter is under consideration and should notify the Democratic Services Officer in attendance that they are withdrawing as they have such an interest. If the Disclosable Pecuniary Interest is not entered on the register of Members interests the Monitoring Officer must be notified of the interest within 28 days.

 

Any Member with an Affected Interest in a matter must disclose the interest to the meeting.  There is no requirement to withdraw from the meeting when the interest is only an affected interest, but the Monitoring Officer should be notified of the interest, if not previously notified of it, within 28 days of the meeting.

ii.     Authority be delegated to the Executive Director: People in consultation with the portfolio holders the Executive member for Adults and Public Health and the Executive member for Children and Young People to approve the action plan.

Berkshire Intelligent Transport (ITS) - Maintenance Contract Award pdf icon PDF 75 KB

To approve the award of the joint Berkshire Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) maintenance contract over a 10 year period. ITS infrastructure includes bespoke telecoms systems, traffic signals equipment, traffic CCTV systems, real-time passenger information systems and variable message signs.

ii.     the award of a new joint contract to Bidder 2 is approved having submitted the most economically advantageous tender for the delivery of ITS maintenance

from July 2024.

To agree the Strategic Procurement Plan to appoint a main contractor to design and construct 2 new schools and a SRP provision.

RESOLVED that

 

i.      the Executive approves this Strategic Procurement Plan to tender the appointment of two separate main contractors under 2 separate JCT Building Contracts, to create additional SEMH and SRP provision across 2 sites within the borough (subject to securing planning approval).

 

ii.     authority be delegated to the Executive Director, Communities and the

Executive Member for Children, Young People and Learning, to award the works contracts to the providers meeting the requirements of the contract. Subject to sufficient resources.
