To consider the latest progress report on proposals for the regeneration of Bracknell town centre.

In addition to considering the report of the Assistant Chief Executive, the Committee received a presentation from Simon Russian of Legal and General, who provided an overview of the development of the marketing strategy for the town centre in both the immediate and long term futures.

RESOLVED that

1              The approach to the regeneration of Bracknell Town Centre as outlined in the Assistant Chief Executive’s report be endorsed.

2          The decision by the Director of Environment, Culture and Communities to offer reduced town centre car parking rates to MACE and their contractors for the period of the town centre regeneration be endorsed.
