Plan for Central and Eastern Berkshire to the Secretary of State
for examination by an independent Inspector. Pursuant to this, the
Executive’s recommendation is sought to publish the Proposed
Submission Joint Minerals and Waste Local Plan for Central and
Eastern Berkshire and related changes to the Policies Map for
consultation.

Consultation process
The process for producing local plans is
prescribed in the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning)
(England) Regulations 2012 (as amended). In addition to publishing
the relevant documents on the Council’s website, there is a
requirement to make them available for public inspection at the
Council’s main offices and other places within the area as
considered appropriate. Due to the implications of COVID-19, it may
be necessary to make adjustments in accordance with advice from
government at that time.
