Article 4 Direction Area for Office to Residential conversions

In light of changes to planning regulations, Executive Member’s agreement is sought not to pursue the continuation of the existing Article 4 Direction which removes the permitted development right to change offices to residential use without the need for planning permission. This currently applies within three defined business areas in the Borough.
