To agree the distribution of the Household Support Fund for October 2021. As provided by the DWP to support households with the increased cost of essentials over the Winter.

Reason for urgency:
This decision was added to the forward plan on 30 September, as soon as the Council heard about the funding, however it will not have had the 28 days’ notice before needing to action the decision. This is justified by the need to purchase the vouchers in time for the October school holiday and in the context of the short notice given by the DWP to distribute this (we were notified of this funding on the 30 September).
