Edgbarrow school is the closest school to the new development (around 1 mile). any other school is at least 2.5 miles away. we believe as many houses are recently built in the area with many children expecting to enter secondary schools soon, the catchment area of the school needs to be reviewed to include the new houses.

Edgbarrow School is no longer a local authority maintained school and is an academy school within the Corvus Trust. The Corvus Trust therefore has responsibility for consulting and making amendments to the admission criteria for Edgbarrow School so the petition is most appropriately directed to them for their consideration.
