Approval of Bracknell Forest Council response to government consultation on permitted development rights, change of use and speeding up planning applications for public service infrastructure.

The Executive Member for Planning and Transport agrees the content of Bracknell Forest Council’s response to the Government’s consultation on ‘Supporting housing delivery and public service infrastructure’ as set out in Appendix A of the Director :Place, Planning and Regeneration’s report.

The purpose of this report is to seek agreement to setting the 2021-22 Schools Block Budgets and other associated matters.

The Executive Member agrees the recommendations proposed for the 2021-22 budget by the Schools Forum in respect of the Schools Block and Central School Services Block budgets, as set out in paragraph 3.1 of Appendix A of the Executive Director: People’s report.

1          That the neutral agency contract be awarded to Tenderer B, identified in Confidential Annex 1, for an initial period of two years commencing 1 April 2021, with the option to extend by a further period of two years, subject to satisfactory performance and at the discretion of the Council.

2          That the neutral agency contract be pro-actively managed/controlled by HR to identify long-term agency workers and make recommendations to move to permanent/fixed term contract positions to reduce costs.
