There were no declarations of personal or prejudicial interests in relation to items on the agenda.

To approve as a correct record the minutes of the meeting of the Committee held on 18 March 2013.

RESOLVED that the minutes of the meeting of the Committee held on 18 March 2013 be approved and signed by the Chairman as a correct record.

Any other items which, pursuant to Section 100B(4)(b) of the Local Government Act, the Chairman decides are urgent.

There were no urgent items of business.

To consider the following motion:

That pursuant to Regulation 4 of the Local Authorities (Executive Arrangements) (Access to Information) Regulations 2012, members of the public and press be excluded from the meeting for the consideration of item 6 which involves the likely disclosure of exempt information under the following category of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972:

(3)        Information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the authority).

(NB:     No representations have been received in relation to the notice published pursuant to Regulation 5 of the Local Authorities (Executive Arrangements) (Access to Information) Regulations 2012.)

The Committee considered a report containing exempt information on the following item.  The decision taken is detailed in the attached decision sheet and summarised below:

RESOLVED that:

1          The Council be approved to issue a licence to BRLP to undertake works outlined in paragraph 5.2 of the report.

2          Authority be delegated to the Chief Executive, in consultation with the Executive Member for Economic Development and Regeneration, to deal with the issue outlined in paragraph 5.3 of the report.

3          The sale of land outlined in paragraph 5.3 be agreed in principle subject to detailed terms being brought back to the Committee.

4          The Public Art Strategy (appendix A) be approved.

5          The designs for the Northern Retail Quarter (Appendix B) be approved.

6          The designs for Charles Square (Appendix C) be approved.           

7          The approach as outlined in paragraph 5.19-20 be noted.

8          The approach outlined in paragraph 5.21-25 be endorsed.

9          The communications messages for Bracknell Market be approved.
