To approve as a correct record the minutes of the meeting of the Council held on 26 April 2000.

To note the report of the Director of Corporate Services (Appendix B attached).

To consider the report of the Director of Corporate Services (Appendix C attached)

To appoint representatives to serve on the following groups:

(a)        Standards Committee (2 : 2 : 2 Independent Members)

            Nominations received: Councillors Finnie, Glasson, Jones and Thompson

(b)        Environmental Impact Group                         (1)

            Nomination received: Councillor Mills

(c)        Countryside Management Steering Group    (2)

            Nominations received: Councillors North and McCracken

(d)        Councillors to serve on the Social Services Complaints Review Panels (any one member of the Council, who may not be a member of the Social Services and Housing Committee, appointed by the Director of Corporate Services as required).

(e)        Councillors to serve on Council Tax and Housing Benefit Review Boards (any three members of the Council appointed by the Director of Corporate Services as required).

To approve the appointment of representatives to serve on the external and other organisations set out Appendix D attached.
