This waiver is in response to unforeseen
circumstances and the novate the works contract.
Novating the project in line with the original
contract allows Bracknell Forest Council to avoid a potential
uplift in costs and a lengthy project delay. If this contract was
terminated and either retendered or renegotiated with either the
2nd or 3rd place contractor it would cost significantly
more.
