To grant planning permission under s73 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (as amended) for the addition of two storeys to accommodate 14no. apartments, varying conditions 02 (approved plans), 06 (car parking), 07 (cycle parking) and 08 (bin storage).
Planning permission granted for the addition
of two storeys to accommodate 14no. apartments under a Section 73
application which allows the variation of conditions imposed on a
previous planning permission. Application 19/00785/FUL sought
amendments to the parking layout, bin and cycle storage of the
scheme granted planning permission by virtue of 18/00357/FUL and
the permission granted varied conditions 02 (approved plans), 06
(car parking), 07 (cycle parking) and 08 (bin storage) of the
original planning permission.
The principle of the development was
considered acceptable and had been established with the grant of
planning permission 18/00357/FUL. Following consultation with the
Highways Officer and the Waste and Recycling Manager it was
considered that the proposed changes to the parking layout, bin and
cycle storage were satisfactory and that the development would
comply with relevant development plan policy, the Council’s
Design, Planning Obligations and Parking Standards SPDs and the
NPPF.
The development was considered to comply with
the development plan and with national planning policy therefore no
alternative options were considered. The comments made by local
residents were considered and, where appropriate, were addressed in
the Officer’s report.
