To review and approve the proposal for the relocation of EDS/Forestcare from the Commercial Centre.
1 That the Executive agrees to the relocation of Forestcare and EDS to Waterside Unit B.
2 That the Executive agrees to the funding of the scheme from a combination of deferred planned maintenance works and the current underspend in the Time to Change budget.
Following the previous report submitted to CMT on 20November 2019, it was requested that a costed feasibility with a detailed design layout was developed and presented to CMT in March 2020. Appendix A provides the report and includes layouts which have in principle been agreed with the service users, the report also includes an elemental cost breakdown and is summarised within section 5.3 of the report.
There are several alternative locations that the project group have considered. The previous options are shown within the report previously submitted to CMT on 20 November 2019. It was agreed that the option to relocate to Waterside Unit B was the preferred option and as such other locations have been discounted from this report. Information contained within this report is shown within Appendix B.
