To agree to the recommendation contained within the report in respect of the provision of Sexual Health Services for Reading, Wokingham, West Berkshire and Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM) Local Authorities all working under the umbrella of Adult Social Care, Health and Housing. This recommendation follows a robust evaluation of tenders submitted from shortlisted candidates. (Please note Bracknell Forest and Slough Borough Councils provision was agreed in May 2014.)

Meetings with interested parties including individual Local Authority Stakeholder events. One to one meetings and discussions have also been held with groups in the community (black and minority ethnic, gay and lesbian, people with disabilities) and an EIA screening was undertaken for all Authorities in Berkshire.

Financial Impact: No financial implication for Bracknell Forest Council. However, within the existing financial framework, there is a possibility for saving for 3 of the Local Authorities in Berkshire. But there could be a financial pressure on the remaining Authority which is dependent on their decision taken.
