Many of us who use the crossing on a daily basis have narrowly avoided us/our children being hit by cars either speeding or ignoring the crossing. Often, drivers who see us/the crossing either don't stop at all or don't wait for us/our children to finish crossing the road before they carry on driving, some even steering around us whilst we cross. Many of us feel it is only a matter of time before somebody else is hit or even killed on this busy crossing.
