03/12/2019 - To award a one year extension to the Ringway Infrastructure Services (RIS) contract ref: 2989    Recommendations Approved

Decision:

The contract with RIS for highway and street lighting maintenance allows for rolling one year extensions to the original 7 year contract subject to satisfactory performance.

The Director: Place, Planning and Regeneration received an annual report from RIS regarding the fifth year of operation and additionally a report from the Head of Highways and Transport regarding the contractors performance from a client perspective.

Both reports highlighted strong performance from RIS in delivering the services required of them in the fifth year of operation. Critically, RIS met or exceeded all of the strategic indicators contained within the contract requiring that a one year extension be awarded.

28/11/2019 - 2020-21 Schools Budget: Compliance with Department for Education (DfE) Procedures for managing Budget Pressures ref: 2985    Recommendations Approved

To agree that subject to the 2020-21 Schools Budget proposals to be presented to the Schools Forum in November confirming the significant budget pressures currently anticipated, that requests are made to the DfE to transfer funds from the Schools Block to the High Needs Block and that the Minimum Per Pupil Funding (MPPF) level is set below the amount ordinarily required minimum amount

2.         DOES NOT AGREE that a request be made to the DfE to set the MPPF values below the minimum amount normally required
