There were no declarations of personal or prejudicial interests in relation to items on the agenda.

To approve as a correct record the minutes of the meeting of the Committee held on 9 July 2012.

RESOLVED that the minutes of the meeting of the Committee held on 9 July 2012 be approved and signed by the Chairman as a correct record.

Any other items which, pursuant to Section 100B(4)(b) of the Local Government Act, the Chairman decides are urgent.

There were no urgent items of business.

To consider the following motion:

That pursuant to Regulation 21 of the Local Authorities (Executive Arrangements) (Access to Information) Regulations 2000, members of the public and press be excluded from the meeting for the consideration of item 6 which involves the likely disclosure of exempt information under the following category of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972:

(3)        Information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the authority).

RESOLVED that pursuant to Regulation 21 of the Local Authorities (Executive Arrangements) (Access to Information) Regulations 2000, members of the public and press be excluded from the meeting for the consideration of item 6 which involves the likely disclosure of exempt information under the following category of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972:

The Committee considered a report containing exempt information on the following item.  The decision taken is detailed in the attached decision sheet and summarised below:

To consider the latest progress report on proposals for the regeneration of Bracknell town centre.

The Chief Executive briefed the Committee on the ongoing negotiations regarding the proposed development agreement, supplementing the information set out in the report.

RESOLVED that:

1          The approach to the regeneration of Bracknell town centre set out in the Assistant Chief Executive’s report be endorsed; and,

2          The basis of the terms for the development agreement with Bracknell Regeneration Limited Partnership outlined by the Chief Executive be fully supported.
