To approve as a correct record the minutes of the meeting of the Committee held on 21 March 2011.

RESOLVED that the minutes of the meeting of the Committee held on 21 March 2011 be approved and signed by the Chairman as a correct record.

Any other items which, pursuant to Section 100B(4)(b) of the Local Government Act, the Chairman decides are urgent.

There were no urgent items.

To consider the following motion:

That pursuant to Regulation 21 of the Local Authorities (Executive Arrangements) (Access to Information) Regulations 2000, members of the public and press be excluded from the meeting for the consideration of item 6 which involves the likely disclosure of exempt information under the following category of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972:

(3)        Information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the authority).

RESOLVED that pursuant to Regulation 21 of the Local Authorities (Executive Arrangements) (Access to Information) Regulations 2000, members of the public and press be excluded from the meeting for the consideration of item 6 which involves the likely disclosure of exempt information under the following category of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972:

To consider the latest progress report on proposals for the regeneration of Bracknell town centre.

The Committee considered a report submitted on the item below and the decisions taken are recorded in the decision sheet attached to these minutes and summarised below:

Item 6:             Bracknell Town Centre Regeneration Update

RESOLVED that:

1          The extension of the long stop date to 30 July 2013, or such other earlier date to be determined by the Chief Executive, for the relocation agreement for the Royal British Legion be approved;

2          The extension of the development agreement termination date to 30 November 2011 be approved;

3          The Public Spaces Strategy set out at Appendix A of the Assistant Chief Executive’s report be endorsed; and,

4          The approach to regeneration set out in the Assistant Chief Executive’s report be endorsed.
