Item 6 BracknellTown Centre Regeneration – Update

 

RESOLVED that the approach to the approach to the regeneration of Bracknell Town Centre as set out in the report and, in particular, the approach to the anchor store letting strategy and the Compulsory Purchase Order be endorsed.

Item 7 BracknellTown Centre Regeneration Temporary Relocation of Bracknell Market

 

RESOLVED

 

1.      That the temporary relocation of the Market to alternative premises within Bracknell town centre be supported;

 

2.      That authority be delegated to the Chief Executive in consultation with the Leader of the Council to enter into such agreements and deeds of variation to the terms of the lease to secure the temporary relocation of the market, safeguard the existing lease of the existing premises and secure the timely demolition of Winchester House;

 

3.      That officers be instructed to prepare a strategy for the future provision of market facilities as part of the longer term regeneration of the town centre.

Civic Hub - Combined Heat and Power - Cost and Development Update

Item 8 – Civic Hub – Combined Heat and power Cost and Development Update

 

RESOLVED that the procurement and installation of combined heat and power (CHP) at an additional cost of £291,000 be supported and, to minimise risks, the management of the procurement and installation of the CHP be transferred to Bracknell Regeneration Partnership.
