Decision details

      i.        That the formal objections received during the statutory consultation process and the corresponding Officer comments are noted.

     ii.        That the position with regard to local ward Members comments received during the informal consultation process is noted.

    iii.        That the Borough Solicitor be authorised to make the Traffic Regulation Order in relation to the proposals detailed on the following plan numbers.

5172/190 – Terrace Road North - Proposed Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) (Annex A)

Over the past few winters it has become increasingly difficult for contractor’s gritting lorry to pass through Terrace Road North in the vicinity of properties, due to the narrow nature of the road and a combination of vehicles parked on both sides.

Not to install the waiting restrictions would result in the continuing difficulties for the gritting lorry to pass through Terrace Road North.
