Purpose:

To agree the publication of a Brownfield Register for Bracknell Forest (Part 1 and Part 2) by 31st December 2017, in accordance with the Town and Country Planning (Brownfield Land Register) Regulations 2017.

Decision:

RESOLVED that the Executive Member for Planning and Transport agreed the content and publication of a Brownfield Land Register for Bracknell Forest (Part 1 and 2 as set out in Appendix A of the Director of Environment, Culture and Communities report) by 31 December 2017.

 

Reasons for the decision:

To comply with the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 (as amended) and the Town and Country Planning (Brownfield Land Register) Regulations 2017.

Alternative options considered:

Not publishing the Brownfield Land Register by 31 December 2017 would result in the Council failing to meet statutory requirements in the Section 14A of Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 (as amended) and Regulation 3 of the Town and Country Planning (Brownfield Land Register) Regulations 2017.
