To update the Committee on the regeneration of Bracknell town centre.
The Committee received a report providing an update on the work taking place to progress the regeneration of Bracknell Town Centre. The report included updates on: progress at both the main development site and smaller peripheral sites, highways and the public realm as well as current issues.
RESOLVED that:
i. the approach to the regeneration of Bracknell Town Centre set out in the Assistant chief executive’s report be endorsed
ii. the use of the local Growth Fund to fund improvements to the Met Office roundabout as outlined in paragraph 5.3 of the Assistant Chief Executive’s report be endorsed.
To progress the Council’s key priority of a Town Fit for the 21st Century.
