Purpose:
To update the Committee on the regeneration of
Bracknell town centre.
Decision:
1 That the approach to the ongoing regeneration of Bracknell town centre as set out in the Assistant Chief Executive’s report be noted.
2 That the Executive Member for Culture, Corporate Services & Public Protection be appointed to represent the Committee on the Public Art Strategy Steering Group.
NB: This decision was to have been taken by the Bracknell Town Centre Regeneration Committee but in the absence of a quorum at the meeting on 2 November 2015, it was referred to the Executive Member being a matter falling within the remit of his portfolio.
Reasons for the decision:
To progress the Council’s key priority of a town fit for the 21st century.
