Purpose:

To award the contract for the Brakenhale School Phase 4 works.

Decision:

That the contract for the construction works for the final Phase 4 of the expansion of The Brakenhale School be awarded to Tenderer A as set out in section 25 of the attached Restricted Appendix A.

Reasons for the decision:

The value of this contract requires Executive approval under the Council’s Contract Standing Orders.

 

The recommended tender is affordable within the budget previously approved by the Executive

Alternative options considered:

The Phase 4 works form part of a masterplan for the expansion of The Brakenhale School in which various options for the expansion works were considered.
