The contract for the RIBA Stage 2 design team
service for the Warfield Community Hub project has been procured in
accordance with the Council’s Standing Orders. Arcadis (IBI
Group) is the preferred design team selected following a tendering
process.
The community hub is a planning policy
requirement that forms an integral part of the new neighbourhood
centre at the Warfield strategic housing development of 2,200 new
homes. Concept design for the proposed Warfield Community Hub needs
to be developed.
Concept design at RIBA Stage 2 is necessary to
develop the scheme against a budget and sustainability criteria. An
option to delay this work would delay the delivery of the new
hub.
