The contract for the cost consultancy service
for the Warfield Community Hub project has been procured in
accordance with the Council’s Standing Orders. Doig+Smith
Ltd. is the preferred cost consultant selected following a
tendering process.
The community hub is a planning policy
requirement that forms an integral part of the new neighbourhood
centre at the Warfield strategic housing development of 2,200 new
homes. Cost consultancy is required for developing the capital
costs the proposed Warfield Community Hub.
Cost plan for the concept design at RIBA Stage
2 is necessary to develop the scheme against a budget and
sustainability criteria. An option to delay this work would delay
the delivery of the new hub.
