Purpose:

To approve the construction of a new splash pad at Coral Reef using S106 monies

Decision:

       i)          That the proposal for a splash pad facility at Coral Reef is agreed by the Executive Member.

ii)          That the scheme is financed with S106 contributions allocated to built sports facilities as detailed in the Table in paragraph 5.8 of the Executive Director of Delivery’s report.

Reasons for the decision:

A splash pad will enhance and increase the capacity of the existing offer at Coral Reef, it can be used throughout the year and will appeal to a younger audience.
