Purpose:

To obtain endorsement and approval to the continuing approach to the Town Centre Regeneration.

Decisions:

The Committee received a presentation on the proposed next steps for the regeneration of Bracknell Town Centre and considered an update report outlining the areas of progress.

 

RESOLVED that

 

1          The approach set out the exempt report be endorsed.

 

2          Approval be delegated to the Chief Executive to amend the dates in the development agreement with Bracknell Regeneration Partnership regarding the relocation of the Royal British Legion.

Reasons for the decision:

To progress the Council’s key priority of a Town Fit for the 21st Century.

 

To bring forward the comprehensive regeneration of Bracknell Town Centre as soon as possible in the current economic climate.
