To obtain endorsement and approval to the continuing approach to the Town Centre Regeneration.
RESOLVED that
1 Authority to approve minor variations to the Development Agreement be delegated to the Chief Executive, or in his absence, the Assistant Chief Executive.
2 Authority be delegated to the Chief Executive to vary the Development Agreement to enable the commencement of the utilities/highways, subject to a satisfactory solution being found should the NRQ West not come forward in the envisaged timetable.
3 That the approach outlined in paragraph 5.14 of the report be endorsed
4 That the approach outlined in paragraph 5.17 of the report be agreed.
To progress the Council’s key priority of a Town Fit for the 21st Century
To bring forward the comprehensive regeneration of Bracknell Town Centre as soon as possible in the current economic climate.
