To consider the latest progress report on proposals for the Bracknell Town Centre Regeneration.
The Committee considered a report relating to the ongoing work in relation to the regeneration of Bracknell town centre. The officers briefed the Committee on the matters covered in the report and answered a number of questions arising there from.
The decision taken is summarised below and set out in the decision sheet attached to these minutes.
RESOLVED that
1 The approach outlined in the report be endorsed.
2 The terms of the short term development agreement variation be amended to extend the Development Agreement longstop date to 30 June 2011.
3 Authority be delegated to the Chief Executive in consultation with the Leader to complete the final stages of the development agreement with BRLP, based on the principal terms set out in the report.
